Book Release: The Modern Sinner

edscriptor

Andy's translation of Carolina Invernizio's Peccatrice moderna has recently been released by Italica Press - details here

Invernizio was the first Italian woman to write a police procedural and she is seen as the forerunner of many who wrote subsequent works in the 'giallo' genre. The Modern Sinner, set in Turin, is a tale of murder, betrayal, and revenge. Andy has also penned an introduction contextualising her contribution to Italian letters.
